4. Ask inquiries. If you don’t understand what someone is saying, simply ask for an explanation rather than attempting to read their mind.
This will prevent misconceptions and misunderstandings.
Asking proper questions demonstrates active listening and a desire to understand their perspective.
5. Avoid interruptions. Wait until they finish before speaking, no matter how tempting it is to interrupt.
Some individuals seek to express themselves and resolve their difficulties. Let them finish.
