2. Spend time alone. When your surroundings change, your perspective shifts. Visit the park or spend the weekend camping. Take a trip and get away from town for a few days. You’ll have new ideas.

3. Take the test. There are numerous personality, interest, and talent exams available online. If you want an accurate assessment, you should respond as honestly as possible. Take multiple evaluations and seek commonalities. The overlapped areas will most likely reveal numerous strengths.

8. What are your preferred topics of conversation? Is there anything you’re so enthusiastic about that your friends wish you would stop talking about it? Which topics do you believe would make an intriguing conversation?

9. When do you lose track of time? Do you lose track of time while you’re painting? Writing? Woodworking? The things that totally engage your mind may be related to your strengths.

10. What do you find easy? What is easy for you but difficult for others? You can outperform almost everyone you know in a few areas.

11. If you had to go back to school, what major would you choose? Math? You probably excel at arithmetic, abstract concepts, and problem-solving. What about creative writing? You are likely talented in writing, reading, creativity, and imagination. What would you like to study if you had the time, resources, and motivation?
